Courses
TECH RESQ’s training program is designed around very important issues, NFPA standards, OSHA regulations, and individual agency needs. We realize that NFPA and OSHA requirements are critical to organizational responsibilities, but understand each agency is not able to deliver all of the potential rescue techniques that may be in their response area. For example, a small volunteer department may not be able to perform technician level trench and excavation rescues to a construction project in their jurisdiction, but desires the ability to assist a regional team called in for a collapse emergency.
TECH RESQ’s programs are designed to meet the following standards and regulations:
- NFPA 1670 Standard on Operations and Training for Technical Search and Rescue Incidents
- NFPA 1006 Standard for Technical Rescuer Professional Qualifications
- OSHA 29 CFR 1910.146 Permit-Required Confined Spaces
- OSHA 29 CFR 1926 Subpart P Excavations
- Others
TECH RESQ’s training program are delivered in modular format designed from a beginner level and develop into the technician level.
If our standard courses do not meet your organizations needs, contact us and we can customize a program to meet your organizations needs.
